This is Brayden in his rocker at 10.3 weeks, or 2.4 months old (yes, I'm a numbers geek and actually calculated it). We thought he was big THEN!
Here he is in the same rocker at 42.4 weeks, or 9.9 months old.
For a long time he didn't really want to sit in it but he seems to have fallen in love with it again. He's still feeling a bit under the weather and literally crawled from my lap to the chair and laid his head in it and whimpered a little as he found he couldn't quite get into it by himself. So I put him in the rocker and within 5 minutes, he was asleep (thankfully I saw that he was falling asleep so I was able to belt him in without disturbing him).

Just before this we tried to put him down for a nap, which he would have none of. When I walked in to rescue him from crying in the crib, I found him STANDING in the crib for the first time. I mean the first time without any help at all. We are so in trouble.
This is one of Brayden's favorite games - stand at the coffee table and tear up whatever he can get his hands on. So far, he can't stand at the table unassisted but it's coming soon!
I'm off to Harrisburg, PA tomorrow for the week. Hopefully the hotel has a decent treadmill as I need to run a few times before my next half marathon next weekend.

He looks so big!!! WOW! time flies! It IS funny that Brayden and Syd rediscovered these chairs. We have taught her to ask to rock and then I will undo the latch and let it rock.
